BIOGRAPHY

Lord Russell is an enormously respected figure amongst many of the leading professional sportsmen and women in such diverse sports as football, snooker and darts. Some of the famous names he has worked with include ex-Ipswich Town, Glasgow Rangers and England captain Terry Butcher, former world snooker champions Steve Davis and Ronnie O’Sullivan as well as three more former world champions in John Lowe, Eric Bristow and Keith Deller from the world of professional darts.

Yet Lord Russell does not settle at arranging events for others to take part in whilst he naturally slips into the role of host and MC for the evening. He is a very keen runner and cyclist and has taken part and completed many 10K runs and marathons for the sole purpose of raising even more funds for some of the great causes that enjoy his support.

He’s now committed his life story to print! Lord Russell’s first book, My Way, was first published in 2021. It is an honest and very frank retelling of his life so far, one which, over time, convinced him that he wanted to dedicate much of it to helping and supporting other people whilst, in the process, deriving a great deal of enjoyment from doing so.

You can purchase a signed copy of My Way here.

Lord Russell’s life has been, and remains, a colourful one, full of exploration and adventure. Yet, for all of the escapades that have highlighted his life so far, he remains most driven by the desire to help others enjoy it as much as he does.

He’s a philanthropist first and adventurer second these days. But that doesn’t mean he won’t continue to have some fun combining those two passions as he tirelessly works to raise much needed money for charities throughout East Anglia.

You can find out more about him and his life and work on this website as well as discovering for yourself how you can get Lord Russell involved with your charitable organisation.
